🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions

Log into MirrorWeb Insight at my.mirrorweb.com. Once on the main dashboard, locate and click on the Management module from the left-hand navigation panel. This module houses all administrative tools for managing users, connections, and schedules.

Within the Management module, click on Connection management to access the area dedicated to setting up and monitoring archived content connections.

Next, click on Connections. This opens the full list of existing connections already set up in your organization’s environment.

At the top of the Connections page, click on Add connections. This will open a dropdown menu with available methods to add new connections.

From the dropdown options, select Bulk Upload Connections. This method allows you to add multiple connection records in one streamlined process.

You will now be prompted to choose which platforms you wish to bulk upload connections for. This could include social media platforms, collaboration tools, websites, or any other data source MirrorWeb supports.

Once you’ve selected all relevant platforms from the list, click Add Selected. This confirms your selection and prepares the system to process those types of connections.

Click Next to proceed to the configuration step.

For any selected platforms that require additional configuration—such as permissions, region-specific settings, or access tokens—you will be prompted to complete those fields here. Select or input the necessary configuration options for each platform as applicable.

After completing all required configuration fields for each selected platform, click Next to move forward.

You will now be presented with the option to download a CSV template. Click on Download template. This file contains all necessary column headers and field names required for a successful bulk upload.

Open the downloaded CSV file and populate it with the connection details you wish to upload. Be sure to follow the format closely to avoid upload errors (e.g., correct URLs, platform names, and metadata).

Once the file is completed and saved, return to Insight and click Import from CSV. Select your prepared CSV file from your local system.

Click on Upload to import the file into Insight. The system will validate the data and present a summary of the upload, highlighting how many connections are ready to be created and if any errors were detected.

If the summary looks correct, click Create connections. This will finalize the process and generate the new connection records based on your uploaded data.

After the connections have been created, you can view them in the Connections list. To initiate archiving or data retrieval, select the connections you want to act on and click Send Requests.

From the dropdown that appears, choose the appropriate send option based on your needs—such as immediate send, scheduled send, or grouped processing.

Once the requests have been sent, you will be able to monitor progress directly in the interface. The status of each connection will update accordingly (e.g., "Pending," "Sent," "Active").

After all actions have been completed and statuses are confirmed, you can optionally mark the upload as complete. This helps you keep track of processed uploads and ensures operational clarity.
