This article will explain the function of web exports and how to use it.
๐ Use Case / Scenario
MirrorWeb stores its web archives in WARC (WebARChive) files. These are immutable files and are time-stamped and retained in an ISO-standard format, and are WORM files (Write Once Read Many). We adhere to SEC Rule 17-a4, FINRA 2210, FCA COBS 4, and other relevant financial regulations.
That said, you may - on occasion - want to export a page to a PDF or image format for compliance audit reasons.
๐ ๏ธ Step-by-Step Instructions
To view your exports
- Log into the insight platform here: https://my.mirrorweb.com/
- Click on Web in the navigation pane on the left
- Click on Exports
- You will be presented with a screen similar to this
- To download an export, simply click on the download icon to the right
- From here you can use the usual methods to print off or save a copy to send on
