Capturing a LinkedIn page

Why do you need to send multiple connection request emails?

To capture a LinkedIn page in its entirety, MirrorWeb’s onboarding team will use two of our connector options for LinkedIn: our LinkedIn Pages Metadata connector, and our LinkedIn Posts connector.

• Our LinkedIn Pages Metadata connector automatically captures page metadata, such as the profile picture, about section, and page name.
• Our LinkedIn Posts connector captures all of the posts and comments that an individual user makes.

When someone posts something on behalf of your LinkedIn Page, LinkedIn sends that post to MirrorWeb as part of the user’s compliance feed. To capture everything on your LinkedIn Page, you need to ask each person who manage your page to capture their posts and updates individually.

This means that, in order to ensure full capture of a LinkedIn page, MirrorWeb needs to send capture requests to the following people:

• A LinkedIn Pages capture request should be sent to one user with the “Super admin” role on the LinkedIn Page;
• A LinkedIn Posts capture request should be sent to each Content admin and Super admin on the page.

Obtaining a list of users with page access

In order for our Onboarding team to be able to ensure the right users are set up for capture, we will need a list of email addresses to send capture requests to.

To see a list of users with access to your LinkedIn page, go to your Company page on LinkedIn and carry out the following steps:
