- From the list that appears, click a platform to restrict the scope of the search to just this platform.
- You can filter by multiple platforms at once by clicking additional items in the dropdown list.
Date
The date field is a mandatory field, and a date range must be entered in order for a search to complete successfully.
- Using the Start textbox, type the date that you wish to begin your search query at. Alternatively, click the calendar icon to bring up a calendar to select the date visually.
- Using the End textbox, type the date that you wish to begin your search query at. Alternatively, click the calendar icon to bring up a calendar to select the date visually.
- Alternatively, use the quick select functionality to generate a search for the specified time range. This will replace the contents of both the Start and the End checkboxes.
Flagged messages
The flagged messages field is a dropdown with three options:
- All: includes all messages in the returned search, regardless of flagged status;
- Only flagged: only include messages in this search that have been flagged by lexicon policy;
- Only non-flagged: only include messages in this search that have not been flagged by lexicon policy.
Sampling
The sampling option allows you to select a sample type to use for your search. This is helpful when having to review a specified number or percentage of the total communications captured within your tenant. The following options are available in the Sampling dropdown:
- Percentage: using the text input on the right-hand side, enter a numerical percentage of results you would like to return. This must be a number between 0.1 and 100.
- Quantity: using the text input box on the right hand side, enter a total number of results that you would like this search to return. This must be a whole number, and must be at least 1 result.
Sort by
You can choose the order in which the results will by returned by using the Sort by option. At the moment, the current sort options are by newest messages first, and by oldest messages first.
